Job summary

A leading FMCG firm in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive sales growth in Kuantan. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Successful individuals will have a diploma or degree in Business or Marketing, along with 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG industry.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience leading or supervising a sales team.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers (GT & MT).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and new outlets.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure effective coverage and execution.
  • Take sales orders and ensure timely submission and follow‑up.
  • Monitor stock levels at outlets and distributors to avoid out‑of‑stock situations.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and after‑sales support professionally.
  • Ensure proper product display, visibility, and merchandising at outlets.
  • Execute trade promotions, in‑store activities, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and promotions, and provide market feedback.
  • Prepare sales reports, market intelligence, and customer feedback regularly.
  • Update customer records, pricing, and promotional details accurately.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales Admin, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR).
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG industry.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience leading or supervising a sales team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Result‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
