Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Executive to drive business opportunities and develop customer relationships. Key responsibilities include promoting products, maintaining records, and pursuing new business through market research. The ideal candidate should have a good command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with experience in the manufacturing and printing industries being advantageous. This role is essential for achieving the company's sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in Printing and Packaging is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the company’s products to customers.
  • Provide product knowledge and excellent service.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of pricing, sales, and reports.
  • Update on market conditions and competitors' activities.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through research and networking.
  • Collect payments and adhere to credit control.
  • Achieve sales budget and margin.
  • Develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Initiate approved sales and marketing activities.
  • Review sales monthly and prepare yearly reports.
  • Perform any ad-hoc assignments as required.

Responsible to identify business opportunities by identifying prospect and evaluating market in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To promote the company’s products to the customers
  • To provide product knowledge, follow up and excellent service to the relevant parties
  • To build and maintain business relation with new and existing customers
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales and assigned reports
  • Update on market condition & competitor’s activities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Responsible to payment collection and adhere to credit control
  • Responsible for promoting and achieving sale budget & margin
  • Develops strategies and action plans to achieve budgeted and potential sales
  • Plan, Organize and initiate approved sale & marketing activities and all aspects of sales & marketing
  • Review sales monthly and prepare yearly sales report
  • Any ad-hoc assignment assigned by the immediate superior or head of department as and when is required
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia/ English
  • Have experience in Manufacturing Industry (advantage)
  • Have experience in Printing and Packaging (advantage)
