Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, provide sales support and identify new business opportunities and potential clients. Provide product, service, and engineering information to the client.
Core Responsibilities
- Formulate strategies to achieve allocated sales target and objectives.
- Responsible to create opportunity for presentations to customers, to create awareness of company’s products and solutions.
- Gather information on potential customers and projects through various sources, i.e. clients, tenders, papers and web portals.
- Coordinate with internal departments on customers’ requirements, issue quotation and follow up the quotation with the customers.
- Source for competitors’ information on pricing, distributing channels, promotions and product within the industry.
- Undertake pre-sales and/or post sales technical support, including project supervision, commissioning and maintenance services to the customers.
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers; new customer sources include local authorities, consultants, contractors, trading companies and developers.
- Travel to sites as requested by customers with the purpose of educating them on installation or resolving on-site issues related to our products and solutions.
- Addressing and resolve any complaints from the client.
- Propose and update to the management on clients’ credit facilities and assist in updating and monitoring the progress of those facilities.
Requirement
- Ability to identify opportunities from various platforms that may contribute to business opportunity.
- Possess strong verbal & written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge in other languages or dialects is an added advantage.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, mature, and highly initiative to work independently in a pressured environment.
Qualification
- Minimum diploma or degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) / Business or related field.
- At least 5 years working experience in sales environment.
- Other work experience in the construction industry will be considered.
