Job summary

A leading recruitment firm seeks a Sales Engineer in Penang to drive sales initiatives and provide technical support. This role requires a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and proficiency in English.   • Handle customer inquiries and ensure exceptional after-sales service.
  • Identify and cultivate new client opportunities.

Job Summary:

Sales Engineer drives sales and marketing, prepares forecasts, develops proposals,meets targets, and ensures client engagement and technical support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute sales and marketing initiatives for our extensive productrange within your territory, adapting strategies to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, proposals, and quotations, taking ownershipof meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Educate customers on our products and equipment features, providingprofessional advice during sales interactions.
  • Conduct site visits to demonstrate equipment and ensure the eƯectiveapplication of technical solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries within your territory, delivering professionalproposals, timely follow-up, and exceptional after-sales service.
  • Identify and cultivate new client opportunities while ensuring creditworthinessand building lasting trust.
  • Provide expert consultancy on equipment performance, including conductingdemonstrations and site assessments.
  • Oversee the collection of debts from sales transactions to ensure financialaccountability.
  • Develop and maintain strong after-sales support and goodwill among customersto foster long-term relationships.
  • Submit timely sales and marketing reports to management on a monthly,quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic,Telecommunication, Photonics) or Physics, or a related field.
  • Must possess a personal vehicle and be willing to travel extensively.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skillswith the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and independent with a results-oriented approachand a drive to achieve targets.

Remuneration
Up to RM7,000 + commissions + other allowances
