Job summary

A manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to manage sourcing activities and prepare costing for engineering projects. The ideal applicant will coordinate with the engineering team for jigs and fixtures during the NPI stage and manage the setup of BOM in the ERP system. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent is required. The position offers an opportunity to ensure efficient production operations and accurate stock management.

Qualifications

• Ability to review engineering drawings and prepare cost estimates.
• Experience in liaising with engineering teams for production support.
• Familiarity with setting up BOM in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and prepare cost.
• Liaise with the engineering team for jig and fixture readiness.
• Manage sourcing activities during RFQs and NPI stages.
• Set up BOM and ERP data allocations.
• Follow up on delivery and stock accuracy in coordination with production and warehouse.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
