We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team at Peninsular Steel Galvanising Sdn Bhd. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and business development initiatives. This is a full‑time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor, offering a competitive salary and excellent opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met
  • Prepare and present sales reports, proposals and pitches to secure new business
  • Collaborate with the production and CSD teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Plan and coordinate with factory, office and technical team to solve logistical and technical‑related matters
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Attend to customer enquiries when needed; location could be at installation sites or other factory premises
  • Develop and build multi‑channels such as online sales and marketing over time
  • Assist in developing, updating, and improving sales kit, brochures, and marketing content and material
  • Provide input to development of in‑house products to boost sales
  • Collaborate with customers to do trading of items when opportunity arises
  • Follow‑up and collect payment from customers
  • Undergo technical, sales and management‑related training
Qualifications
  • Ideally from existing sales background with minimum 3 years of experience in similar industry (hot‑dip galvanising, steel products, building material, hardware, steel coating, engineering or fabrication industry)
  • Energetic and result‑oriented
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Candidate with CAD or engineering drawing skills is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Necessary to travel from time to time
  • Candidates that have ready customers are more than welcome
