We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director, ASEAN to drive growth across Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines — owning the go-to-market, leading sales/pre-sales/marketing/business development, and running cross-functional initiatives that accelerate sales, innovation, and expansion.
What You'll Do
- Sales Leadership & Execution (First Priority)
- Drive revenue growth and target attainment across MY/ID/PH.
- Build and execute the ASEAN sales strategy aligned to global/local goals.
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team (sales, pre-sales, marketing, BD).
- Own executive relationships; drive pipeline health and forecasting accuracy.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals end-to-end; navigate public sector/GLC RFPs, tenders, and compliance.
- Champion CRM and sales-ops excellence; equip the team with tools, training, and resources.
- Use market insights to inform pricing, packaging, and GTM.
- Initiative Leadership
- Lead strategic programs tied to growth and transformation.
- Define scopes, KPIs, and success metrics; coordinate cross-functional delivery.
- Track/report progress to ASEAN leadership and promote continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing on demand gen, campaigns, and brand.
- Work with Product/Services for solution–market fit and customer success.
- Represent the voice of sales in regional/executive forums.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
- Malaysian citizen; based in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur onsite).
- 15+ years in sales leadership, business development, or strategic commercial roles.
- Proven experience selling to Public Sector and GLCs in ASEAN.
- Public transport/smart mobility experience preferred — or ability to learn/grasp the domain fast.
- Proven success in software/SaaS/consulting/B2B solution selling.
- Track record leading cross-functional initiatives/transformation programs.
- Strategic, analytical, and conference‑ready communicator.
- Executive relationship management and complex deal structuring.
- Familiar with modern sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN).
- Bachelors degree; ability to travel up to 25% across MY/ID/PH.
- Comfortable with high autonomy in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment
Nice to Have
- Sales ops, GTM strategy, or commercial modelling background.
- Project/change management certifications.
- ASEAN-relevant multilingual skills.
- Experience opening new countries/markets.
