Sales Development Representative | Fully Remote Work

Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative / Business Development professional passionate about technology and problem-solving. In this role, you will drive outbound engagement, identify automation challenges, and guide manufacturers toward more efficient, intelligent automation solutions. This role focuses on solution guidance rather than aggressive selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify promising organizations within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and robotics integration sectors.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, and HubSpot.
  • Craft engaging messages introducing the value of flexible robotic automation.
  • Initiate conversations to understand prospects’ current automation processes and challenges.
  • Assess opportunity viability by reviewing processes (welding, sanding, blasting, etc.), automation maturity, and suitability for Augmentus solutions.
  • Arrange meetings and hand off fully qualified leads to sales or technical teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Report recurring challenges, competitor mentions, and product improvement suggestions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and weekly outreach activity records.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably B2B technology, robotics, or industrial automation).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and outreach tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and outreach cycles simultaneously.
  • Analytical, curious, and interested in robotics, CAD tools, or manufacturing processes.
  • Confident engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Structured approach to research, messaging, follow-ups, and iterative improvements.
  • Motivated to work in deep-tech and contribute to the future of factory automation.
  • Prior robotics/automation exposure.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Technical pre-sales experience.
