Sales Coordinator Executive - Business Development

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotations, attending to customers’ queries, and ensure timely follow-ups with customers.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor vessel space and update the sales team regarding space availability.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and current information.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Schedule and coordinate sales meetings, appointments, and presentations as needed.
  • Provide timely updates to the sales team regarding customer feedback and requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all sales activities and transactions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Track sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Administrative & Marketing Support
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provide insights and feedback from customers to enhance marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales coordination or sales support role, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
