Job description

Our client is aleading machinery parts supplier offering variousengineeringsolutions in industrial automation and supplies for industrial combustion, waterworks, gears and motors.

The Sales and Application Engineer is responsible for performing sales activities, technical support and interacting with the principal and customers, inclusive of consultants and contractors. The role will be based in Puchong, Selangor.

The Role:

• Preparing commercial and technical proposals for new and existing clients by understanding client requirements, project feasibility, and crafting comprehensive proposals.
• Execute projects and manage them for the best outcome including risk assessment, resource allocation, progress monitoring, stakeholder communication, and implementing corrective actions when necessary to optimize results.
• Developing new business and maintaining business relationships by nurturing existing client relationships through consistent communication and delivering value-added services to build long-term partnerships.
• Promoting and developing new market segments by identify untapped or emerging segments, analyzing trends, and creating tailored strategies to enter and grow in those markets.
• To achieve the divisional targets set upon by management.
• Any other duties designated and determined by the organization to enhance the business operation

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering. (Electrical/ Mechatronic).
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in a related field.
• Familiarity in handling project sales and dealing with contractors, consultants and clients.
• Good knowledge of electrical motors/pumping applications/ inverters (VFD) will be an added advantage.
• Experienced in the supply of equipment for waterworks will be an added advantage.
• Independent, self-disciplined and able to work under minimum supervision.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas.
• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Malay.
