We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to manage and grow our customer accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and our customers, ensuring client satisfaction and long‑term partnership success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a set of business fields (different from current Manager (Sales)
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and productivity.
- Set sales targets and KPIs, monitor progress, and take corrective action when needed.
- Manage customer relationships, including key accounts and high‑value clients.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitor analysis.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales activities.
- Prepare sales budgets, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal meetings.
- Ensure good customer service standards and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Monitor sales team performance, conduct evaluations, and recommend training or improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and contractual obligations.
- Selling technical services e.g. testing services, engineering services (technical projects, automation to production, customization production/inspection/engineering works etc.)
- Selling technical products e.g. test machine, test equipment or other relevant technical machines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / MBA in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or account management (preferably in relevant industry, e.g., automotive or testing services).
- Willing to travel e.g. to China, Thailand, Singapore etc.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience leading and managing a sales team, including coaching, performance management, and motivation.
- Hands‑on experience with sales strategy development, planning, and execution.
- Strong background in customer relationship management, especially with key accounts.
- Experience in pipeline management and sales forecasting using CRM tools.
- Skilled in negotiating deals, preparing proposals, and closing high‑value sales.
- Experience conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities.
- Collaboration experience with marketing, operations, and product teams to support sales objectives.
- Experience handling escalated customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with sales reporting, KPI tracking, and preparing management reports.
- Experience with CRM.
