Overview

As a Safety Officer at Daijin Tech (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees within our manufacturing in Bukit Raja, Selangor. This full-time position is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring safety protocols to create a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures and training programs
• Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Providing safety guidance and training to all employees
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on safety metrics
• Collaborating with management to continuously improve safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and liaise with all employees
• Ability to think critically, identify risks and implement appropriate safety measures
