As an Safety & Health (Officer), you will play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly. Your primary duties include:
To assist the Safety & Health Department Head in the execution of day-to-day safety functions, as directed by Safety & Health Department Head and to handle an instructed safety & health function.
To assist & support the Safety & Health Department Head consistently to ensure activities & programs plan is running productively.
To support by implementing and monitoring safety and health programs to ensure a safe, hazard-free working environment that complies with regulatory and company requirements.
To make a report of all activities related with safety and health and inspection.
JTAP safety and related kaizen activities person in charge.
To conduct and organize company safety & health programs such as awareness campaign and training.
To follow all requirement by OSH Act 1994 with advice by Safety & Health Department Head.
Coordinate Industrial Hygiene Monitoring with the Consultant, follow up status corrective action and communicate findings to employees.
Undertake any job assigned by the superior from time to time.
We’re seeking individuals who are motivated, resourceful, and ready to solve challenges in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will showcase:
Candidate must possess Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or certificate in Safety & Health is an advantage. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this position).
1-2 years' experience in OSH Management System.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), other apps such as MYKKP and E-Premis.
Good communication skills, conversation and write in Malay and English.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
