A technology company in Penang is seeking a Safety and Health Executive to manage safety inspections, accident investigations, and liaise with local authorities. Qualifications

• Education in safety and health is preferred.
• Experience in ISO and Safety & Health field is an advantage.
• Ability to read and write in Chinese is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on accident investigations and generate reports.
• Coordinate and accompany safety inspections and audits.
• Liaise with group, local authority, and external auditors.
• Assist Emergency Response Team in their activities.
• Handle security matters.

Responsibilities

• FOLLOWING UP ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION & GENERATE ACCIDENT REPORT
• COORDINATING & ACCOMPANYING SAFETY INSPECTION AND AUDIT
• LIAISING WITH THE GROUP, LOCAL AUTHORITY AND EXTERNAL AUDITPR
• ASSISTING ERT TO CARRY OUT THEIR DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES
• HANDLING SECURITY MATTERS
• HANDLING OTHER S&H DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS DEEM REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT

Position Requirements

• TERTIARY EDUCATION - PREFERABLE FROM SAFETY AND HEALTH COURSES
• SOME WORKING EXPERIENCE IN ISO AND SAFETY & HEALTH FIELD IS AN ADVANTAGE
• KNOW TO READ AND WRITE CHINESE
• SELF INITIATIVE & INDEPENDENT
• HAVING A GOOD INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
