Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies, IFRS, and internal controls.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including P'&L and balance sheet reviews.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal control teams to ensure timely execution and remediation of controls.
• Drive process improvements and support transitions of new activities.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in accounting processes.
• Monitor team KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage team performance and relationships with SSC, country teams, and CFO office.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of RTR experience in APAC, including 3+ years in a supervisory role managing a team of 9-12.
• Strong understanding of tax codes and laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (knowledge of Oracle Cloud is a plus) and MS Office suite.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Shared services experience preferred.
