Job summary

A well-known resort in Terengganu is looking for dedicated staff to maintain cleanliness and provide excellent guest service. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and cooperating with colleagues in the cleaning process. Candidates should have at least SPM and ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Qualifications

  • Clean guest rooms according to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct self-inspections of cleaned rooms.

Job Descriptions
  • Stay focused on the resort’s Vision and ensuring all tasks carried out are in accordance to the resort’s established Mission Statement.
  • Carry out guest rooms and guest floors cleaning based on daily assignment issued by the Supervisor. Any challenges in cleaning the room must be reported immediately to the attention of the Rooms Supervisor.
  • Fully aware of key control and policies, especially on usage of master keys.
  • Ensure all cleaning work is carried out according to the standard operating procedures and within the time frame given, including the usage of cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Clean, care and service the vacuum machine based on schedule provided.
  • Carry out various scheduled project or special project as assigned.
  • Record all works done in the maid assignment report accurately and promptly.
  • Assist other colleagues in completing the room cleaning process or other areas as needed.
  • Familiar with guest lost and found policy, as well as valuable items found in occupied rooms.
  • Conduct self-inspection of all rooms cleaned without bias.
  • Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as required by the management.
  • Provide excellent and warmth service to all guest with a genuine smile.
Requirements
  • Possess SPM or have at least 1 year working experience in hotel will be added advantage. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work on shift basis, weekend and Public Holidays.
  • Able to converse basic English.
  • Open for Malaysian only.
