What you'll be doing:

Risk Management Leadership: Execute and oversee Group risk management initiatives, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), corruption risk assessments, and business continuity planning.

Guidance and Support: Assist business units and functions in conducting risk assessments, ensuring alignment with Group policies and frameworks.

Emerging Risk Analysis: Monitor and assess new risks arising from regulatory changes, market developments, and business transformation initiatives.

Policy Development: Draft, review, and update risk-related policies, procedures, and governance documentation to maintain best practices.

Risk Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive risk management reports to key committees and the Board, providing valuable insights for decision‑making.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvements to risk governance processes and internal controls.

Sustainability Management: Oversee Group Sustainability matters, including ESG initiatives, data management, and reporting requirements.

Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units to ensure accurate and complete sustainability information, aligned with regulatory standards.

Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to team members and risk champions across the Group, fostering a culture of risk awareness.

Who are they looking for:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Business, or related fields.

Professional Qualifications: Professional qualifications such as CRMA, CIRM, CIA, CFA, ACCA, MICPA, or CIMA are highly advantageous.

Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in risk management and/or audit, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or people management role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Exposure to ISO standards, safety, or quality management systems is advantageous.

Communication Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, as these languages are crucial for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Personal Qualities: High integrity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment are key attributes for success in this role.
