Thistle Port Dickson Resort – Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur
The Revenue Manager (with eCommerce Responsibility) is accountable for driving the resort’s total room revenue performance in line with Thistle Port Dickson Resort policies and brand standards.
The role leads revenue management practices including pricing strategy, forecasting, inventory control, and business mix optimisation, and is responsible for presenting monthly revenue performance outcomes to Management, including explanations of budget variances, market insights, and forward-looking strategies.
In addition, the role oversees eCommerce and digital distribution performance, ensuring revenue strategies are effectively implemented across online channels and that visibility, conversion, and channel performance are optimised.
Implement revenue management practices in accordance with Thistle Hotels policies and brand standards.
Own and drive ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and total room revenue in line with approved budgets.
Recommend and implement overall revenue maximisation strategies, including business mix optimisation and group pricing recommendations.
Prepare and present monthly revenue performance reviews to Management, including:
Budget vs actual analysis
Variance explanations
Market and demand insights
Recovery and forward strategies
Act as the primary revenue advisor to the DOS and GM on pricing, demand, and market conditions.
Lead statistical, historical, and competitive data gathering.
Produce accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts based on demand trends.
Monitor competitor pricing, market dynamics, and demand shifts to support timely pricing and inventory decisions.
Create, recommend, and implement effective pricing strategies for all market segments with logical rate structures.
Take full responsibility for inventory management and control across all distribution channels.
Maximise revenue delivery through all channels by implementing yield management strategies effectively.
Protect rate integrity and challenge non-profitable business.
Oversee distribution performance across direct, OTA, corporate, group, and wholesale channels.
Ensure rates, inventory, packages, and promotions are accurately reflected across all digital platforms.
Monitor channel performance, booking trends, and conversion metrics to optimise channel mix and net revenue.
Work closely with OTA partners, CRS, RMS, and channel manager providers to improve online visibility and performance.
Review and monitor rate parity and channel compliance, coordinating corrective actions where required.
Collaborate with MarCom to support digital initiatives from a revenue effectiveness and performance perspective.
