A leading sales consultancy in Malaysia is seeking a sales associate to drive product recommendations and enhance customer experiences. Candidates should possess at least SPM with 3 years of relevant experience in sales or customer service, with strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. A Passion for technology products is essential, and extra skills in Mandarin are a plus. This position involves managing customer inquiries, upselling, and supporting in-store operations.
Drive sales by engaging customers and recommending suitable products and solutions
Upsell and cross-sell during customer interactions to maximise sales opportunities
Provide friendly, consultative advice on consumer technology products and services
Manage customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints until resolution
Support in-store operations, including transactions, inventory, and merchandising
Stay updated on promotions, campaigns, and competitor offerings
Promote self-service platforms and digital solutions to customers
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and service standards
Minimum SPM with 3 years’ relevant experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage
3–5 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or retail environment
Strong communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
Comfortable working retail hours, weekends, and public holidays
Passionate about sales, customer engagement, and technology products
Tech-savvy and comfortable using basic computer applications
