A leading retail company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager responsible for overseeing sales planning across multiple stores, team leadership, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a strong background in fashion retail with at least 6 years of experience. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and the ability to analyze market trends. The position involves maintaining high customer service standards and compliance within the retail sector.
Sales Planning: Responsible for Yearly/Monthly/Daily sales planning for all stores in-charged. Take proactive actions with Branch Managers and Mall marketing (if applicable) to plan in-store activities strategically to achieve monthly and yearly sales target.
Store Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics for each showroom and location in the area. Take proactive steps to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise Branch Managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to lead their teams effectively. Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and professional development.
Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards across all locations. Ensure proper inventory management, visual displays, and cleanliness in each showroom.
Customer Service: Promote excellent customer service standards within each location. Address customer concerns and feedback, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
Budget and Expense Control: Manage the area's budget, control expenses, and drive cost-effective operations. Monitor and report on financial performance regularly.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations for adapting strategies and tactics accordingly.
Compliance: Ensure that all stores in the area adhere to legal and safety regulations. Handle any compliance-related matters promptly and effectively.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the senior management team and corporate office. Provide regular reports, updates, and recommendations. Also to ensure all directions; strategies; or messages from corporate office are communicated clearly to all store team members.
