Job description

As a Pharmacist at GREAT LEO MEDIC SDN BHD', you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. In this full-time position based in Klang, Selangor, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counselling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of drugs.

What you’ll be doing

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patients receive the correct drugs and dosages
• Provide detailed medication counselling to patients, educating them on proper usage, side effects, and potential interactions
• Monitor patient medication regimens and recommend adjustments to physicians as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
• Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Malaysia
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, drug interactions, and medication management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary
