JOB SUMMARY
The Retail Leader oversees all store operations, driving sales, customer experience, and staff performance. They organize daily activities, mentor and develop staff, ensure compliance, and implement initiatives to optimize store performance. Acting as a role model, they champion CD Retail Culture and deliver exceptional retail standards.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure smooth store operations to maximize sales, enhance customer experience, and control costs.
- Organize and delegate tasks to staff, ensuring efficient and successful store management.
- Monitor and manage staff performance (Retail Specialists and Retail Experts) in sales, service, customer experience, and compliance.
- Maintain seamless operations across cash handling, inventory management, store layout, POSM, displays, and in-store merchandising.
- Develop and mentor staff, providing motivation, coaching, and guidance to ensure high operational and performance standards.
- Enforce quality and compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Analyze store reports and implement relevant initiatives for quick operational improvements.
- Provide feedback and innovative ideas to the Regional Retail Manager to elevate retail standards.
- Act as a role model and change agent, promoting and embodying CD Retail Culture throughout the store.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Must have passed SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia).
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in telecommunications or retail industries.
- Proven experience in leading, managing, and motivating a team with minimal supervision.
- Good knowledge of retail management best practices; experience in Retail Specialist or Retail Expert roles is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong people management skills; approachable, responsible, and an attentive listener.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and familiarity with data analysis principles.
- Positive, passionate, collaborative, creative, self-motivated, resourceful, team-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Ability to make quality operational and business decisions.
