About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Food & Beverage Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supervising operations of the restaurant, to deliver an excellent guest experience. The Restaurant Supervisor reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Attend to guest requests and complaints, efficiently and courteously
  • Maintain good communication with the Kitchen operations, F&B section heads and other relevant departments
  • Assist with the administration of weekly duty schedules, vacation leaves and present to the Assistant Managers or Manager for approval
  • Provide feedback to Manager/ Assistant Manager on guests’ complaints
  • Show a positive, energetic and caring attitude always towards guests and fellow colleagues
  • Ensure that all colleagues are familiar with the contents of all menus, and the composition of each item
Qualifications
  • Minimum SPM qualification or Hotel School would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel experience
  • Previous experience in supervising and/or delegation
  • Knowledge of Infrasys system
