Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Diploma (preferably in Management, Hospitality, or F&B)
- At least 2 years of experience in the restaurant or F&B industry.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, hardworking, responsible, and a good team player.
- Proficient in using basic phone/computer tools (WhatsApp, Excel, POS system).
Job Objective
Assist in ensuring the daily restaurant operations run smoothly and efficiently, including kitchen, customer service, inventory, and basic administrative tasks. Act as a bridge between staff and management to maintain Mak Kimbong’s operating standards at all times.
Main Responsibilities
1. Daily Restaurant Operations
- Monitor smooth daily operations from opening to closing.
- Ensure staff arrive on time, dress neatly, and follow SOPs.
- Assist in preparing staff work schedules and ensure fair task distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, toilets, dining area, and kitchen at all times.
2. Kitchen Monitoring
- Check raw material stock every morning and help restock when necessary.
- Monitor food taste, preparation, portioning, and presentation quality.
- Report to the Operation Manager if stock runs low, equipment breaks down, or quality is inconsistent.
- Ensure proper kitchen hygiene, raw material storage, and waste management.
3. Administrative Duties
- Prepare the daily sales report.
- Check staff attendance and petty cash reports.
- Assist HQ in collecting documents such as supplier invoices and delivery slips.
- Ensure all files and reports are neatly organized.
- Answer phone calls and reply to company messages politely, promptly, and professionally.
- Relay customer or supplier inquiries accurately and quickly to management.
4. Customer Service & Experience
- Help monitor customer service to ensure quick and polite service.
- Handle minor customer complaints effectively before referring to management.
- Ensure the restaurant atmosphere is always friendly, clean, and comfortable.
5. Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen, counter, and management.
- Deliver management instructions clearly to all staff.
- Attend weekly operation meetings when required.
