Qualifications

Job description

To provide medical treatment, diagnose illnesses and prescribe and administer treatment for people suffering for injury and disease.

To examine and consult patients, obtain medical histories and order, perform and interpret diagnostic test related to the illnesses.

To carry out or arrange for special tests/diagnostics and refer patients to other health services when required.

Ensure medical equipment & related machine functioning well & sufficient for operation.

Advise patients on health care and prevention of illness.

To perform minor surgery and monitor medical record of patients.

Assist management to acquire patient and panel companies from the clinic and generate income for the company via business network.

Co-ordinate patients care with nursing and support staff.

Practice prudent management of the operation to ensure effective cost control.

To determine and make recommend relating medication and equipment purchasing decision & taking into account its cost benefit.

To manage and monitor the operation of Polyclinic including planning, arranging and organizing staff schedule including locum doctors.

Develop & propose new services/ packages for clinic in order to achieve monthly revenue target.

Propose & enhance existing services to ensure the number of patient keep increasing.

Review & recommend new SOP or improve existing SOP to ensure its relevant & practical.

Ensure the constant and continued supply of drugs, medicine, medical equipment and disposal items.

Liaise with MMA over medical regulations.

Perform any other function as instructed by the management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.

Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience with ultrasound.

Valid Annual Practising Certificate with the Malaysian Medical Council (without being leased to any party).

Able to lead the team and having business acumen.

Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

Well-versed to use ultrasound machines i.e. for 2D, 3D and 4D.

Willing to work on shift rotations, weekends, or public holidays when required.

Applicant should be Malaysian citizens.

The successful candidate is expected to carry out their duties as a Resident Doctor / Medical Officer at our polyclinic in Bandar Baru Bangi or Bangi Avenue, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
