Reservation Agent (Sunway City Hotels Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities
- Reservation Management: Handle guest inquiries, process reservations, and manage bookings accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are recorded in the hotel management system.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their questions, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Availability and Rates: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions, advising guests on the best options for their stay.
- Communication: Correspond with guests via phone, email, and live chat, confirming reservations, sending booking confirmations, and providing pre-arrival information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and sales, to coordinate guest needs and preferences, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Sales Support: Assist in upselling room upgrades, additional services, and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum SPM qualification.
- Must be conversant in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must possess good writing skills in English.
- Previous experience as a reservation agent in a hotel or similar role in hospitality industry is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and enthusiasm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all reservations and guest information are recorded correctly.
- Proficiency in using reservation and hotel management software, as well as basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively, providing solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the hotel's operation schedule.
