We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
  1. Reservation Management: Handle guest inquiries, process reservations, and manage bookings accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are recorded in the hotel management system.
  2. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their questions, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Availability and Rates: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions, advising guests on the best options for their stay.
  4. Communication: Correspond with guests via phone, email, and live chat, confirming reservations, sending booking confirmations, and providing pre-arrival information.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and sales, to coordinate guest needs and preferences, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  6. Sales Support: Assist in upselling room upgrades, additional services, and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Requirements
  1. Possess a minimum SPM qualification.
  2. Must be conversant in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  3. Must possess good writing skills in English.
  4. Previous experience as a reservation agent in a hotel or similar role in hospitality industry is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and enthusiasm.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all reservations and guest information are recorded correctly.
  7. Proficiency in using reservation and hotel management software, as well as basic Microsoft Office applications.
  8. Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively, providing solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the hotel's operation schedule.
