Overview

As a Representative - Inside Sales, you will obtain, create, up-sell and execute sales orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will manage and execute the full process for regional and international sales orders. You will collaborate with the outside sales team to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services and ensure goals are being met.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain orders through email and telephone calls, verifies and enters items, transfers orders to fulfilment, explains stock-outs and expected delivery dates.

  • Increases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checks customer’s buying history.

  • Owns, qualifies and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.

  • Identifies ways for continuous improvement of processes.

  • Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.

  • Reviews open customer order reports and takes action on open items, including those items that may be at risk in meeting customer’s promised delivery date.

  • Maintains distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification.

  • Reports industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management.

Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma holder in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics or Equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of experience with inside sales and order management; APAC regional experience preferred.

  • Experience managing full sales order chain: Engage with regional suppliers to generate quotations, manage international shipping/freight (CIS), familiar with Incoterms, delivery (DDP), taxes/VAT.

  • Ability to upsell, market concepts and recommend products to existing accounts

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to engage with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders across the region.

  • Experience from IT industry, such as Systems Integrators or IT Suppliers preferred.

  • Familiar with equipment, parts and supplies for IT network infrastructure or Data Centers will be an advantage.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.

  • Office location is at Menara Suezcap 2 KL Gateway.
