Job Purpose
- To perform transactions, attend to queries and execute administrative duties to support customer needs.
- To educate customers and encourage adoption of digital channels to support branch transformation.
- To acquire customers, cross‑sell products and services, and provide referrals to support business needs.
Job Description
- Provide services by completing account transactions such as receiving deposits, paying and other transactions.
- Answer, attend and fulfil customers’ needs and requests.
- Educate customers and migrate them to digital platforms and self‑service machines for a seamless and convenient customer experience.
- Explain and advise on and promote the bank’s latest products and services such as promotions, campaigns and rates.
- Identify opportunities to make relevant referrals and cross‑selling activities.
- Meet and greet walk‑in customers, usher them to relevant counters or workstations and ensure they are attended to by staff.
- Attend to customers’ enquiries and service issues promptly.
- Support and perform customer acquisition activities (onsite and offsite) through CEP and other related programs to onboard customers.
- Upkeep and maintain overall branch premises, including the WB lounge, banking hall and SSB area, ensuring marketing or product brochures are properly placed according to branch guidelines.
- Perform telemarketing activities by calling customers to migrate them to digital platforms and promote the bank’s products and services.
- Perform operational tasks such as counter service and assist in branch administrative duties based on operational requirements (cash balancing, GL reconciliation, scanning, machines settlement and posting, etc.).
- Comply with established operational and control procedures.
- Exercise vigilance when performing duties and highlight unusual and suspicious transactions.
- Maintain awareness of customer feedback and escalated when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A recognised diploma in any field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in bank branch operations.
- Possess a strong customer‑service mindset and enjoy the challenge of exceeding customers’ expectations.
- Willing to travel across southern branches and other regions (if needed).
