Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for embedding compliance into Swift’s business operations. As a trusted advisor to assigned business areas in Technology Platform and Security, you will help ensure compliance requirements are understood, implemented, and continuously improved in practice. This is a hands‑on role where you will work closely with teams to cascade compliance obligations, identify risks or gaps, ensure audits are followed up on and delivered on time, and propose practical solutions that strengthen compliance and support operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance‑related topics
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance considerations are integrated into operations and decision‑making
- Ensure policies and controls are embedded in daily business processes
- Align with the team to track progress and implementation of compliance remediation actions
- Support teams with audit, compliance and risk‑related discussions and reporting
- Assist with controls testing for different compliance frameworks
- Help business teams understand their compliance obligations and challenge deviations or weak practices
- Cascade compliance culture and training initiatives in collaboration with the Global Compliance team
- Participate in discussions on new products, tools or services to identify compliance implications early
- Monitor and follow up on compliance programme implementation, providing feedback and identifying gaps
- Gather input from colleagues to improve compliance frameworks and processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT compliance, regulatory advisory, risk management, or similar roles
- Experience with the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act is preferred
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, policies and controls (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 31000, ISAE 3000, RCSA, exit strategy of SaaS vendors)
- Professional English language skills
- Self‑starter with a structured, process‑oriented mindset and ability to work independently
- Proven ability to translate compliance requirements into practical processes for business teams
- Impartial, open‑minded, respectful and comfortable with ethical dilemmas
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, and senior‑level interaction experience
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a pragmatic approach to compliance challenges
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Passion for continuous improvement and high‑quality deliverables
