A leading training organization in Malaysia seeks a Regional Trainer to enhance staff performance through effective training on product knowledge and sales techniques. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Education, Business Management, or IT, along with at least one year of training experience. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be comfortable presenting to large groups. This role requires travel to various outlets and to Kuala Lumpur quarterly.
Manage and provide training to staffs on Product Knowledge, Sales Technique, Presentation Skills and Operation Practices to enhance the business performance of the organisation.
To work closely with Training Lead and team to execute trainings in store. Ensure that all retail staffs receive consistent training and latest updates to achieve required job competencies and provide great customer experience.
To work closely with Operation/Retail team on Training Needs Analysis and provide training and development support to retail stores accordingly.
Provide new staff training by positively reinforcing successful performance and give respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
Provide feedback to store leader on staff performance.
Candidate(s) must possesses at least a Diploma / Degree in Education / Business Management / IT and / or with at least one (1) year of relevant experience in Training related field.
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form.
Familiar with online and face-to-face learning approaches and methodologies.
Have the ability to present confidently in front of large audiences, and ability to provide constructive feedback.
Good strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan and adapt strategies in anticipation of any changes or challenges with competing demands and tight deadlines.
Good organisational and project management skills.
Able to create and maintain a positive learning environment for all team members.
Able to drive training initiatives and projects assigned.
Able to quickly learn new technology, practices, adjust based off market needs, and drive new and updated programs.
Able to work as a team player and also independently with minimal supervision.
Act with integrity and honesty that promote the culture, value and mission of the company.
Must have own transport and must be willing to travel within assigned Switch or Urban Republic outlets.
Must be willing to travel to Kuala Lumpur on a quarterly basis.
