Position Responsibilities
Corporate Transactions & Strategic Execution
- Support and execute corporate transactions
- Lead or support financial, commercial and operational analyses for initiatives
- Coordinate and support pre-due diligence and due diligence processes
- Assist in preparing internal memorandum, board papers and management presentations
Financial Analysis & Modelling
- Build, review and maintain robust financial models (3-statement models, sensitivities, scenarios)
- Develop business cases for new markets, concepts and strategic initiatives
- Monitor and analyse post-transaction and post-investment performance
Special Projects
- Support initiatives and Group wide readiness workstreams, internal coordination and advisor engagement
- Assist in group-wide strategic initiatives such as cost optimisation, operating model design and expansion planning
- Conduct market, competitor and industry research across Malaysia and regional markets
Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage project timelines, deliverables and workstreams across internal stakeholders and external advisors
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies and escalate where appropriate
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior management / relevant committees
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline
- Professional qualifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) are advantageous
- 5–8 years of relevant experience
- Experience gained from Big 4 deals team, investment banking, private equity / venture capital, corporate development, strategy / business consulting
- Financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Understanding of corporate transaction processes and execution
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
- Structured thinker with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- High ownership mindset and ability to work independently
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with internal and external parties
