The ideal candidate will have a Master or Bachelor Degree in Engineering and at least five years of technical sales experience. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting annual targets, protecting and expanding revenue and market share, managing customer satisfaction and relationships, ensuring strong business process discipline (Oracle Sales Cloud, SharePoint) and providing market intelligence on customers, competitors and industry trends.
Ensure achievement of the assigned sales targets and develop new accounts.
As the Regional Sales Manager, manage various customers and locations in colloboration with various field teams including but not limited to local sales, Global Account Managers, local field service/application as well as Cohu internal teams such as Engineering, Tech Support, Operations, Product teams
Responsible to provide accounts and market analysis and regular feedback on market situation and new requirements in his covered accounts.
Responsible to consolidate and provide regular accurate forecasts and sales activities reports to the VP Asia Customer Group and Country Sales Manager in timely manner.
Visit prospective, new and existing clients regularly to understand their needs/requirements, access potential sales opportunities as well as build up rapport with customers of all levels.
Arrange customer visits in collaboration with Engineering, Product Support, Technical Support, Business Development and/or other Technical and Field Support staff for technical and/or sales discussions
Ensure company product roadmap and new developments are made known to customers effectively
Responsible to ensure an efficient follow-up on all sales, projects and customer purchase orders till final customer buy-off.
In collaboration with Field Service and Technical Support, ensure that efficient after-sales service are made within the established policies and instructions.
Master or Bachelor Degree in Eelctrical, Eletctronincs or Mechanical Engneering.
At least 5 years of technical sales and/or capital equipment sales experiences.
Willing to travel extensively and in short notice within Malaysia and overseas.
Pleasant personality and abiity to build strong bond with customers.
Understand of various Cohu products and offerings are added advantage
