Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Regional Sales Manager.
What are the Job Responsibilities?
Distributor Partner Management
  • Lead, coach, and manage GT distributors in Central region.
  • Drive monthly business reviews, performance tracking, and action plans.
  • Resolve trade issues, stock allocation, delivery cycles, and TTA alignment.
  • Support onboarding of DPs and transition plans.
People Leadership
  • Manage and coach frontliners (ESRs & merchandisers) via DP structure.
  • Conduct regular trade visits, route audits, and performance evaluations.
  • Implement capability programs (e.g., 6-Step Selling Tools, Perfect Store).
  • Work closely with internal Trade Marketing and Capability teams.
Sales Execution & KPI Delivery
  • Ensure target achievement for: Sales, Reach, NPD Listing, Call Coverage.
  • Monitor outlet universe expansion and GT numeric distribution.
  • Drive Perfect Store execution, planogram compliance & POSM execution.
  • Champion field discipline, SFA usage, and GT data reporting cadence.
Market Expansion & Strategic Projects
  • Identify regional growth opportunities.
  • Execute GT channel projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What are the Qualifications?
  • 8+ years of experience in FMCG General Trade with strong on-ground ops exposure.
  • Proven track record in distributor management & team leadership.
  • Hands-on with route planning, field force tracking, and trade execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with data discipline (SFA/DMS/Sell-Out Tracking).
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
  • High mobility across Central region (frequently field travel expected).
