Job description
Regional Operation Manager, Contract Logistics

The Regional Operations Manager will lead operational excellence across multiple warehousing sites in the region, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and best‑in‑class service delivery. This role demands a hands‑on leader with deep expertise in contract logistics, strong process discipline, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Job Description
Governance & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and SOPs across all APAC sites. Maintain version control, manage SOP updates, and oversee training programmes. Implement structured audit programmes (desktop and on‑site) covering SOP compliance, WMS integrity, inventory controls, security, 5S, and HSSE.

Performance Management

Review site performance regularly, identify gaps, and lead pragmatic action plans to improve service, cost, and productivity. Promote data‑driven decision‑making and best‑practice sharing across countries. Define operational procurement guidelines for warehousing (MHE, racking, consumables, PPE, temp labour, security services). Partner with Procurement on sourcing strategies, rate cards, contract terms, and cost optimisation initiatives. Ensure third‑party vendors comply with ethics and trade compliance requirements (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act).

HSSE & Security

Uphold HSSE standards (ISO 45001, TAPA where relevant) and ensure audit readiness. Drive incident prevention and compliance across all sites.

WMS & Process Optimisation

Oversee WMS operational design (receiving, put‑away, slotting, pick/pack, wave/ship, cycle count). Ensure master data governance, compliance flows, and system health checks; support upgrades and new releases.

Site Support & Deployment

Deploy to sites for new start‑ups, stabilisation, or turnaround projects. Lead playbook execution, operator training, and interim management support until performance stabilises.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with Country Operations Managers, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Finance, and Safety & Security to meet SLAs and enhance client satisfaction. Support customer meetings and site visits as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8 - 12+ years in warehouse operations/contract logistics, with multi‑site or regional leadership experience (APAC exposure strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record in SOP implementation, audits, and performance improvement.
  • Solid HSSE knowledge and disciplined execution.
