Job description

The Regional Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for shaping and leading ZALORA’s end-to-end recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and onboard the best talent in the market.

This role involves both strategic recruitment planning and direct, hands‑on recruitment, alongside leading the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring we comply with local regulations and build strong pipelines for critical roles while enhancing our employer brand. The successful candidate will be a visionary people leader who thrives on building high‑performing recruitment functions and driving talent strategies that directly support ZALORA’s overall objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute ZALORA’s talent acquisition strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and future workforce needs.
    • Partner with the Senior Management Team and HR business partners to anticipate hiring needs and workforce planning priorities, leveraging data insights to inform talent strategy, workforce planning, and diversity goals.
    • Drive the evolution of TA processes, tools, and technology to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Talent Acquisition Excellence
    • Lead and oversee all recruitment activities across markets and functions, ensuring timely, high‑quality, and scalable hiring processes.
    • Establish robust recruitment frameworks, policies, and metrics that drive efficiency and consistency across regions.
    • Develop and track recruitment KPIs and dashboards to measure performance and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Hiring for Senior Roles
    • Lead the recruitment of senior and executive‑level positions across markets, ensuring alignment with ZALORA’s strategic direction and leadership capability needs.
    • Build and maintain strong external networks and relationships with senior‑level talent, executive search partners, and industry leaders to proactively identify and attract top leadership talent.
    • Drive a seamless and confidential senior hiring process that reflects ZALORA’s values, brand, and leadership standards.
  • Team & Process Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing specialists and recruiters.
    • Build capabilities in advanced sourcing, talent mapping, and workforce intelligence.
    • Establish clear KPIs and ensure delivery of service excellence across the TA function.
  • Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
    • Position ZALORA as an employer of choice by strengthening our external talent brand.
    • Oversee the design of a seamless, engaging candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to deliver recruitment campaigns and social media presence.
  • Pipeline Development & Market Insights
    • Build sustainable pipelines for hard‑to‑fill and business‑critical roles.
    • Leverage market intelligence and data analytics to guide hiring strategies and influence decision‑making.
    • Develop partnerships with universities, associations, and external recruitment agencies to expand reach.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners to understand talent needs and deliver strategic hiring solutions.
    • Present data‑driven insights and dashboards to the Senior Management Team on TA performance and market trends.
    • Influence stakeholders to balance speed, quality, and cost in hiring decisions.
    • Partner with universities, industry bodies, and external recruitment agencies to strengthen ZALORA’s talent pipelines.
    • Collaborate cross‑functionally with HRBP and P&C COE teams to align recruitment with broader people strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in regional recruitment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in senior‑level hiring across the Southeast Asian region.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high‑performing TA teams in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, employer branding, and recruitment technologies/ATS.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate at executive levels.
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
