Job description

The Regional Head supports the institution’s international student recruitment efforts by implementing strategic initiatives, building strong partnerships, and driving enrollment targets. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance relationship management, counseling, and operational execution to achieve recruitment goals across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Strategy Execution: Implement the university’s recruitment plans to achieve student enrollment targets.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet deadlines and recruitment goals.
  • Counseling & Advising: Provide academic counseling, planning, and guidance to prospective students and parents.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with higher secondary schools, alumni networks, and recruitment agents.
  • Agent Network Management: Support and service agents to meet recruitment targets; deliver training sessions and regular visits.
  • Promotional Activities: Collaborate with agents in education fairs, exhibitions, and information days.
  • Application Conversion: Lead follow‑up activities to maximize application‑to‑enrollment conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of International Student Recruitment to strengthen agent and sponsor networks.
  • Sales Tools: Ensure promotional tools are impactful and effective for regional recruitment.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly recruitment reports to the Head of International Student Recruitment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree OR minimum 5 years of sales/customer‑related experience.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and management.
  • Background in higher education recruitment is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive personality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of independent execution.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage.
