Duopharma Biotech Berhad is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial matters across our regional offices. This position plays a critical role in driving financial performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring sound governance and compliance in line with both local and international standards. The ideal candidate is a strong business partner, equipped with solid financial acumen and the ability to lead and influence at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for regional operations.

Provide strategic financial insights to regional leadership to support data-driven decision-making and business growth.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

Manage working capital, cash flow, and cost optimization initiatives across the region.

Oversee Malaysia’s group insurance portfolio, including policy renewals, claims management, and stakeholder coordination.

Support financial projects by preparing projections, liaising with legal and headquarters, and offering financial advisory.

Maintain and update the Limit of Authority (LOA) framework to ensure sound governance practices.

Collaborate with the Malaysia Finance Department for monthly closings, audits, and statutory submissions.

Requirements

Qualifications

Degree in Accountancy or Finance

Professional certification (e.g., MIA, Chartered Accountant) is required

Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector

Proven track record in financial reporting, insurance management, and cross-functional collaboration

Strong command of accounting systems and financial modelling tools

Proficient in financial analysis methods (DCF, IRR, NPV, etc.)

Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and integrated financial planning

Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

High integrity, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
