Are you an expert in complex industrial operations with a proven background in edible oil refining? We are looking for a decisive and results-driven Refinery Production Manager to lead and optimize our multi-faceted operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality production across our core facilities, including the Oil Refinery, Laundry Soap Production, Storage, and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Direct daily refinery and soap production processes. Monitor KPIs (yield, throughput), optimize chemical usage, implement improvements, and manage plant shutdowns/turnarounds.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict compliance with OSHA, DOE, DOSH, and local HSSE regulations. Drive a robust safety culture and ensure environmental discharge standards are met by the WWTP.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure product specifications (FFA, color) are met and maintain vital certifications: Halal, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, RSPO, and MSPO.
• Financial & Inventory Control: Manage departmental budgets (CAPEX), implement cost-saving measures, and oversee comprehensive inventory control and reporting to Finance.
• People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of engineers, supervisors, and support staff, fostering a high-performance, disciplined culture.

What You Must Bring

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Managerial or Senior Supervisory role within the palm oil refining, edible oil processing, or a related complex manufacturing environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong command of refining processes, boiler operations, WWTP, and food safety standards.
• Strategic Skills: Proven track record in process optimization, team leadership, financial acumen, and excellent analytical skills.
• Standards Familiarity: Thorough knowledge of Halal, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, RSPO, and MSPO.
• Work Location: Willing to be based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
