The Recruitment Officer is responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent for all club positions within the fitness organization. This role ensures that clubs are fully staffed with capable individuals who can deliver excellent member experience and support the company’s performance-driven culture. The Recruitment Officer manages the full-cycle hiring process, ensuring speed, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Recruitment (Fitness Roles)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Clubs and Central office.
- Understand job requirements and match candidates accordingly.
- Ensure timely hiring to support operational needs.
- Source candidates through job portals, fitness academies, sports universities, social media, and referrals.
- Maintain continuous relationships with fitness institutions.
2. Screening & Selection
- Review resumes, PT certifications, and fitness background.
- Conduct phone screenings and assess communication, attitude, and technical knowledge.
- Arrange interviews, trial sessions, or PT practical assessments.
3. Interview & Assessment Coordination
- Schedule interviews with Hiring Managers.
- Assist in preparing interview guides.
- Ensure smooth communication between hiring managers and candidates.
4. Offer Management & Onboarding
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
- Ensure PT certifications are valid and comply with company standards.
- Coordinate with club teams for onboarding and first-day arrangements.
5. Recruitment Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly hiring reports.
- Ensure full compliance with HR policies and labour regulations.
6. Employer Branding
- Support recruitment marketing initiatives such as social media hiring campaigns.
- Participate in job fairs, PT roadshows, and walk-in interview days.
- Promote the company as an employer of choice in the fitness industry.
Key Requirements :
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
- 1–3 years recruitment experience; fitness, hospitality, or retail is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess personality fit, fitness competency, and service attitude.
- Good knowledge of fitness industry trends.
- Proficient in recruitment platforms (Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Indeed).
- Able to handle high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
