A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will conduct thorough analyses of real estate investment opportunities and manage investment documentation. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least 5 years of experience in FP&A or fund accounting. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders.

About the job Real Estate Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of real estate investment opportunities.
• Manage, execute, and record forward contracts as needed.
• Prepare, review, and manage investment documentation in alignment with accounting, tax, statutory, and organizational policies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory obligations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, financial institutions, auditors, tax consultants, and corporate secretaries.
• Assist the Finance team in preparing management reports, presentation materials, and other related deliverables.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience underFP&A/investment/fund accounting function.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work closely and present research findings to senior management team.
