Overview

We are seeking an experienced R&D Software Application Engineer to design and develop test and measurement solutions for oscilloscopes and other electronic test instruments. You will work on high-speed digital technologies and contribute across the product life cycle from concept and requirements to release.

Responsibilities

• Work with advanced high-speed digital standards and technologies such as IEEE, PCI Express, and USB.
• Participate in research, architecture, and design of new products, as well as enhancements to existing features.
• Collaborate with product planners, technical support, and customers to define product requirements and features.
• Develop test methods and algorithms for high-speed digital conformance testing.
• Apply deep technical and product knowledge to innovate and improve test methodologies and algorithms.
• Resolve straightforward technical issues and challenges within your specialization area.
• Partner with Marketing, Software QA, Learning Product, and Technical Support teams throughout the product life cycle, from customer requirements through shipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering ( or equivalent).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and data acquisition systems.
• Strong ability to work with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Typically 2-4 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of measurement science is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in AI/ML is a strong advantage
• Experience with development tools such as Git and exposure to Lean/Agile development procesess is a plus.
