Job summary

A leading food and beverage company in Malaysia is seeking a dynamic R&D Manager. In this role, you will oversee product development, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while optimizing costs. You will manage projects, lead a team, and conduct necessary testing and analysis. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Technology with 5-10 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and BM is essential, with Mandarin knowledge being a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in the food industry and/or FMCG business.
• Proficient in English and BM; knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of new product development in food processing and FMCG manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Review existing product formulations for functionality, ingredients, and availability.
• Ensure new products meet regulatory standards and work with QA for quality.
• Optimize formulations to reduce costs while maintaining safety.
