Job description

We’re expanding our product range and also developing our new café concept, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys experimenting with food, understands flavors, and can turn ideas into actual products that can be produced consistently. This role will cover both our packaged products and our café items, so it’s a good fit for someone who’s creative but also organized and hands‑on.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work on new snack products for retail (nuts, mixes, granola, etc.) and improve existing recipes.
  • Come up with new food and beverage ideas for the café and test them out.
  • Standardize recipes, portion sizes, and prep methods so the team can follow them easily.
  • Do small‑batch tests, taste tests, and quality checks to make sure the product is right before launching.
  • Run shelf‑life tests, yield tests, and basic costing to ensure the product is feasible.
  • Document everything clearly — recipes, SOPs, versions, changes — so production and café teams can follow.
  • Work closely with the Production Floor Manager and café team to scale new recipes and train them on execution.
  • Coordinate with procurement when sourcing new ingredients and helping evaluate suppliers.
What We’re Looking For
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys food development and experimenting with flavors.
  • 2–4 years experience in food R&D, culinary work, or café/restaurant product development.
  • A good understanding of food safety and basic shelf‑life principles.
  • Able to plan, test, adjust, and document recipes properly.
  • Hands‑on, willing to work in the kitchen and production area, not just sitting behind a desk.
  • Curious, detail‑oriented, and able to improve things step by step.
  • Comfortable working in a growing company where directions can shift and improve as we go.
