Qualifications

Overview

Purpose of the Job

• Design/Develop/execute PLC software for new product development, improvement and customised design.
• Design/Develop/execute electrical and control solutions for new products.
• Plan resources and support PM/lead engineers in new initiatives.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, drive ideas through final product design and respond to design changes.
• Provide technical support to product engineering/production/servicing teams of Bromma CSP and CME product lines.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for new software development related to new product development.
• Develop and improve new/existing products, know-how, components, equipment, systems, and processes.
• Develop testing and verification procedures on Bromma products and services by working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate product performance based on technical specs/customer requirements.
• Document development progress and activities.

Requirements

• Education
  • A relevant Degree in Software/Electrical/Control Engineering discipline.
• Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable working experience with relevant electrical/control feedback loop design work.
  • Experience in electrical design and control systems of industrial machinery and/or crane equipment.
• Skills
  • Working experience in CoDeSys, including IL, ST, LD, FBD, SFC, and related platform tools.
  • Experience with Siemens PLC in the above tools is advantageous.
  • Programming languages: C++, C#, Python, JavaScript.
  • Familiar with international electrical standards; CE compliance experience is a plus.
  • Good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronics.
  • Communicates well in English.
