Purpose of the Job
- Design/Develop/execute PLC software for new product development, improvement and customised design.
- Design/Develop/execute electrical and control solutions for new products.
- Plan resources and support PM/lead engineers in new initiatives.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, drive ideas through final product design and respond to design changes.
- Provide technical support to product engineering/production/servicing teams of Bromma CSP and CME product lines.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for new software development related to new product development.
- Develop and improve new/existing products, know-how, components, equipment, systems, and processes.
- Develop testing and verification procedures on Bromma products and services by working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate product performance based on technical specs/customer requirements.
- Document development progress and activities.
Requirements
- Education
- A relevant Degree in Software/Electrical/Control Engineering discipline.
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of applicable working experience with relevant electrical/control feedback loop design work.
- Experience in electrical design and control systems of industrial machinery and/or crane equipment.
- Skills
- Working experience in CoDeSys, including IL, ST, LD, FBD, SFC, and related platform tools.
- Experience with Siemens PLC in the above tools is advantageous.
- Programming languages: C++, C#, Python, JavaScript.
- Familiar with international electrical standards; CE compliance experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronics.
- Communicates well in English.
