A leading construction consultancy firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to handle tender preparation, cost estimation, and project management. The ideal candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, and have over 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate BOQs, attending progress meetings, and managing subcontractor databases. Competitive salary package offered.

Responsible for tender preparation & submission.
Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on tender drawing & Specification.
Review of tender documents and prepare of tender queries to confirm and collect any missing data.
Attend technical meetings with the client / contractor and weekly progress meetings if required by the Project Manager.
Preparation of Cost Estimation for MEP Works (Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants, and other misc.
Invite the Quotation from Subcontractor / Supplier, Negotiation and Comparison, and ability to prepare pre-contract & tender activity.
Maintenance and update of Approved Subcontractor / Supplier database.
Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting, preferably in the construction Industry.
Knowledge in the initial review of projects, contract conditions, specifications, and design drawings.
Proficient in the use of construction-related software, such as cost estimation and project management tools;
Good knowledge and understanding in overall processes of cost and contract management, feasibility studies and tender process.
