Job summary

A leading refining company in Port Dickson is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and assist in maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a relevant technical field and at least 3 years of experience in maintenance, project, or construction activities. Responsibilities include conducting site checks, verifying maintenance work, and tracking contractor performance. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Comply with HRC HSSE standards and requirements.
• Follow the GAME Maintenance Execution process.
• Conduct site checks for maintenance activities and verify manpower and equipment against approved cost estimates.
• Measure and verify maintenance work quality and quantity in accordance with specifications.
• Assist planners in defining resource requirements, including manpower, equipment, and site needs.
• Review contractor cost estimates and verify final claims.
• Ensure approved quotations are available and reviewed before work begins.
• Track, verify, and sign off contractor manpower and equipment timesheets weekly.
• Work with schedulers to monitor progress of critical maintenance activities and plant shutdowns to ensure timely completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
