Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in QS or construction field is an added advantage.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in construction, interior design, or related industries.
  • Experience in preparing invoices, project SOA, quotations, BQ, tender documents, and project costing.
  • Prior experience dealing with CIDB, MOF, and government/vendor portals is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction measurement, material take-off, cost estimating, and project cost control.
  • Proficient in preparing progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
  • Ability to evaluate subcontractor claims, quotations, and variations.
  • Familiar with tender processes, documentation, and deadline management.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (if any).
  • Basic understanding of accounting entries, petty cash management, and invoice preparation.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Good negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Able to multitask and manage several projects/tenders simultaneously.
  • Highly responsible and able to meet tight deadlines.
Other Requirements
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for site measurements or project visits.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with the project/site team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling documents.
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices promptly based on approved sales orders.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain Project Statement of Account (SOA) on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to creditors and clients.
  • Record drivers’ petty cash disbursements and receipts accurately in the cash book.
  • Assist in preparation and compilation of tender documents according to requirements.
  • Monitor tender submission deadlines and ensure timely submission.
  • Assist in registering vendors with relevant platforms/portals.
  • Assist in preparing loan or grant application documents as required.
  • Prepare and submit CIDB renewal applications for company and employees.
  • Ensure timely renewal of MOF registration for the company.
  • Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for construction projects.
  • Perform project cost control, including monitoring budget vs. actual costs.
  • Prepare progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
  • Evaluate contractor/subcontractor claims, quotations, and variations.
  • Conduct site measurements and verify completed works.
  • Prepare material take-off and assist in sourcing suppliers, including price negotiation.
  • Review tender drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accurate costing.
  • Assist in project documentation, contract administration, and compliance with construction standards.
  • Work closely with the site team to monitor project progress and cost impact.
