Job summary

A construction company based in Puchong is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent. Job description

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.

Fresh Graduates are welcome as long as you are willing and ready to learn!

Minimum 2 - 5 years of working experience in the construction field.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think creatively and analytically.

Experience preparing tender BQ, VO submission, progress claims, and cost control.

Proficient in MS Excel, CostX, AutoCAD, and QS measurement tools.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Familliar with overall site planning, coordination and management to ensure completion of works within required standards, budget, quality and targeted schedules.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and other parties related to the project and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, updates, and approvals.
  • To lead and coordinates the project team to ensure collaboration and and to ensure overall progress going towards the right direction.
  • To control and monitor work progress and ensure work quality on track.
  • Risk Management: Assessing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Preparing cost reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
  • Site Visits: Conducting site visits to assess progress and costs.
