Job description

Responsibilities

• To prepare for delivery of checklist by hand or courier to client.
• Prepare tendering documents, taking off measurements, bills of quantities and submit price estimation.
• Attend tender meeting / interview with client and consultant to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility.
• Obtain quotations from contractors and suppliers for cost assessments, analysis, and work out the competitive rate for budgeting.
• Assist in awarding contracts, reviewing contract documents.
• Review and check pricing document during bid time and after award.
• Prepare agreement with sub-contractor after project been awarded.
• Prepare and submit progress claim, variation order, final account to client.
• Collaborate and maintain good relationship with clients, consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by director from time to time.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related working experience.
• Good knowledge in taking-off, costing, tender preparation, evaluation of claims and finalization of account.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision, committed and good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates/ Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
