This is a full-time Quantity Surveyor position with Bukit Buloh Premix Sdn Bhd, located in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry, providing cost management expertise and ensuring projects are completed within budget.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Evaluating tenders and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to budgets
• Providing advice on contractual and commercial matters
• Preparing progress reports and maintaining accurate financial records
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing value engineering initiatives

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Chartered or Incorporated status with a professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB)
• Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project controls
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient in the use of cost estimation software and other relevant tools
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
